Patrick Ndlovu

CEO

Patrick has a rich background in the Disability sector and an extensive understanding of the NDIS. He joined the industry in 2009 and has worked in different coordination and management roles for over 10 years. He commenced his role as Chief Executive Officer in 2023.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree (with a second major in Management), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Foundations of Directorship and several other disability industry-related qualifications. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

 

Patrick has unique skill set, blending social sciences and management, has been instrumental in driving positive change. His leadership has resulted in tangible improvements in service delivery, exemplifying his belief that individuals are the best experts in determining their own needs. He has consistently demonstrated his commitment to excellence.

 

What sets Patrick apart is not just his professional acumen but his unwavering dedication to an empathy-driven and person-centred approach. He possesses outstanding communication and leadership skills. He strongly believes in psychological safety, employee wellness and diversity and inclusion within a workplace.

 

Patrick's relationships with staff, individuals, families/guardians, and other stakeholders are a testament to his ability to connect on a personal level.

Benson

Benson Omwamba

QUALITY, RISK, AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Benson is a holder of Bachelor of Education and a Master of Project Management from Edith Cowan University (ECU) and Certificate III in Individual Support.

 

In addition, he is a certified NDIS Internal Auditor. He has 5 years’ experience in the Disability sector as a highly skilled Community and Youth Support Worker.

 

Benson is an experienced Risk and Compliance expert having worked for 9 years in various departments in the Banking Industry, and specifically boasts of over 4 years’ experience as a Risk and Compliance Coordinator in Retail and Corporate Banking.

Benson joined BGSR in 2023 and currently specialises in Risk management practices, NDIS Compliance management, Incident and Complaint Management, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) and overseeing the implementation of Policies and Procedures.

 

Benson brings tenacity in the workplace and believes in positive attitude, passion, and teamwork as essential tools for success. Benson is inspired daily by his wife and their two sons. In his free time, Benson likes going for drives, researching on cars, dancing, and gardening.

Denver

Denver Forsdike

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Denver brings over a decade of rich experience in the disability and aged care sector, showcasing a dynamic career path across various roles and interfaces. With a deep-rooted passion for ensuring quality service delivery and fostering equal opportunities within communities, Denver's journey began with a health science degree that led him from a clinical background to a fervent advocate for independence and empowerment. Throughout his career, Denver has held numerous leadership positions, both within professional environments and in voluntary capacities, demonstrating a remarkable ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and optimize operational efficiency. His dedication to facilitating positive change and enhancing the lives of individuals shines through in every endeavour. Beyond his professional achievements, Denver is a devoted father to two young children, whose boundless energy keeps him engaged and inspired. His wife, a pioneering force in her own right, provides a solid foundation for their family, balancing ambition with grounded wisdom. In addition to his professional and family commitments, Denver is a global sports enthusiast, harbouring a hidden competitive edge that drives his pursuit of excellence. Actively involved in various local community groups, he thrives on collaborative efforts that yield meaningful results, reflecting his commitment to making a tangible difference where it matters most. Denver’s blend of experience, passion, and dedication makes him an invaluable asset in the disability and aged care sector, embodying the spirit of compassionate leadership and continuous growth.

Dilan Madushanka

FINANCE MANAGER

Dilan Madushanka is a seasoned Finance Manager with over 12 years of experience in both the commercial sector and prestigious firms such as Deloitte, across Sri Lanka and Australia. A member of CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in financial management and strategic planning.

Dilan also holds a master’s degree from Central Queensland University, which complements his strong commitment to excellence in financial practices and good governance. His diverse experience and dedication to driving financial performance make him a valuable asset to Space For Life team.

Cassandra Lever

PEOPLE & CULTURE MANAGER

Cass holds over 18 years of experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on Industrial Relations and Employee Relations. Cass has experience across a wide range of industries and has acted as a trusted representative for both employees and employers in industrial advocacy matters. She has previously worked as a Senior HR Consultant who has managed a wide range of challenging and complex HR matters and achieved positive outcomes. She is passionate about aligning HR strategy with business objectives and managing all aspects of the employment lifecycle.

Cass is results focused and loves to achieve operational efficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

 

She is a pragmatic and collaborative People & Culture Manager with extensive experience in supporting and coaching leaders in informed decision making, through providing strategic advice. She is committed to building strong and effective relationships with people at all levels and to creating collaborative, high performing teams and a positive workplace culture.
