Patrick Ndlovu

CEO

Patrick has a rich background in the Disability sector and an extensive understanding of the NDIS. He joined the industry in 2009 and has worked in different coordination and management roles for over 10 years. He commenced his role as Chief Executive Officer in 2023.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree (with a second major in Management), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Foundations of Directorship and several other disability industry-related qualifications. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

 

Patrick has unique skill set, blending social sciences and management, has been instrumental in driving positive change. His leadership has resulted in tangible improvements in service delivery, exemplifying his belief that individuals are the best experts in determining their own needs. He has consistently demonstrated his commitment to excellence.

 

What sets Patrick apart is not just his professional acumen but his unwavering dedication to an empathy-driven and person-centred approach. He possesses outstanding communication and leadership skills. He strongly believes in psychological safety, employee wellness and diversity and inclusion within a workplace.

 

Patrick's relationships with staff, individuals, families/guardians, and other stakeholders are a testament to his ability to connect on a personal level.

 

Patrick recent initiatives have further solidified his reputation as a dynamic and forward-thinking professional in the Disability sector. His journey is not just a chronicle of experience but a narrative of positive change and transformative leadership.

Frances Eaton

PEOPLE & CULTURE MANAGER

Frances boasts over 20 years of experience in the global business arena, with a diverse background spanning Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East. Throughout this period, her professional focus has encompassed aligning human resources with overarching business strategies, fostering business values, championing diversity and inclusion initiatives, driving leadership development, shaping organisational brand and culture, and navigating change management dynamics.

 

In addition to her extensive corporate experience, Frances has honed entrepreneurial skills over 15 years, running her own consultancy. Her professional journey includes stints in corporate settings, not-for-profit organisations, and a role as an executive coach and leadership strategist.

 

Her passion for people and their development is evident in her belief that cultivating the right work environment and leadership fosters employee thriving. Frances is a dedicated advocate for diversity, inclusion, and organisational culture and change.

Benson Omwamba

QUALITY, RISK, AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Benson is a holder of Bachelor of Education and a Master of Project Management from Edith Cowan University (ECU) and Certificate III in Individual Support. In addition, he is a certified NDIS Internal Auditor. He has 5 years’ experience in the Disability sector as a highly skilled Community and Youth Support Worker.

 

Benson is an experienced Risk and Compliance expert having worked for 9 years in various departments in the Banking Industry, and specifically boasts of over 4 years’ experience as a Risk and Compliance Coordinator in Retail and Corporate Banking.

 

Benson joined BGSR in 2023 and currently specialises in Risk management practices, NDIS Compliance management, Incident and Complaint Management, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) and overseeing the implementation of Policies and Procedures.

 

Benson brings tenacity in the workplace and believes in positive attitude, passion, and teamwork as essential tools for success. Benson is inspired daily by his wife and their two sons. In his free time, Benson likes going for drives, researching on cars, dancing, and gardening.

Sharon Pryde

FINANCE MANAGER

Born and raised in Sydney and having no desire growing up to be an Accountant, Sharon found her niche when working as an Accounts/Admin Assistant in the family business. This led Sharon completing an Associate Diploma in Accounting, a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualifications.

 

While working for a large hotel group, Sharon moved to Perth in 2011 after an opportunity to transfer from Townsville. She worked in hospitality industry as Financial Controller for 15 years before moving to the Disability industry in 2012 and she has remained within the sector. She joined BGSR in 2019.

 

As someone living with a disability, she understands the complexities surrounding people with disabilities and that has enabled her to be more than just a numbers person in the organisation’s Senior Leadership Team.

 

When not immersed in a spreadsheet, Sharon enjoys a good Netflix binge while doing online shopping.
