about our people-centred approach
INDEPENDENCE, INCLUSION, COMMUNITY
Our mission has always been to create inclusive spaces and experiences for our participants, allowing for growth and independence — the ingredients that build a fulfilling life.
We implement this vision through our thoughtful recruitment process and focus on nurturing relationships between support workers, participants, and families.
It can be seen in every small moment that occurs when we provide supports, where opportunities for learning are taken and space for independent actions are given.
LED BY OUR VALUES
We know that quality of care comes down to the team providing the support. Their wellbeing and relationship with the organisation must be treated with the same nurturing and commitment that we extend to our participants. Our values only become a meaningful reality when they flow through from the onboarding process to the daily experience within our homes.

community
Our organisation’s vision is grounded in three foundational outcomes: independence, inclusion, and community. We believe in focusing on participants’ independence, working towards a more accessible future, and growing connections with the community. Platforming these outcomes is the key to helping our participants build lives in our homes, rather than just living in them.

Our journey
Since 2007, as a disability service provider, we had honed our approach to care and developed lasting relationships with our participants. And it was at this point that we took time to reflect, time to determine where our passion and strengths lie, so we could build a clear vision for the future.

Assistance with daily activities
Our approach to this service is particularly influenced by our ‘independence’ pillar, as although we provide thorough and considerate support, we also offer opportunities for skills development and independent actions.
DEVELOPING LIFE SKILLS
With this service focusing on assistance with complex tasks, our staff are specifically trained to support participants in a way that maintains and increases their skill level. We also offer mentoring and advocacy for people who live independently but need guidance or responses to crises.
DOMESTIC SUPPORT
This covers domestic cleaning tasks, including inside the house and out in the gardens, and staff encourage participation to develop cleaning skills.
Plan Management
Our plan management team help participants manage their budgets through taking care of all the paperwork and paying invoices on time. Also, with their extensive knowledge of the NDIS, they can provide practical advice and assistance to ensure the plan is working for the participant.
SERVICE COORDINATION
Regular consultation and individualised coordination is an essential part of ensuring our participants are living full, vibrant lives. We assist with lifestyle planning and checking progress towards their personal goals.
SUPPORTED HOLIDAYS
We believe that travel is a valuable opportunity for participants to develop independence and engage in a quintessential life experience. The trips are also planned around what the attendees are looking for.
Social and community participation
We encourage our participants to spend time out in the community and engage in activities of their choice, as it supports inclusion and belonging. Our support team provides the amount of assistance necessary or requested by the individual.
